Sunflowers are the newest additions to the Pollen Mobile Flower ecosystem. Manufactured by BLiNQ Networks, the Sunflowers are small, lightweight, and powerful with 3 x 90° sector antennas.
Once installed, the Sunflower will broadcast Pollen Mobile and any mobile phone or device with a Pollen Mobile eSIM can use the Pollen network where their major carrier does not have service.
About the Sunflower
- one (1) BLiNQ Networks X-300i radio
- integrated Pollen Mobile Greenhouse mobile core

Please note that Sunflowers DO NOT come with a non-penetrating stand for rooftops. You can purchase a stand separately here.
What are the hex limits for the Sunflower?
Based on our initial testing, we've set the Sunflower max hex amount to 16. We will continue to look at the data and make any adjustment as necessary.
Do I need any special permits to install a Sunflower?
You do not need any special permits to install a Sunflower, however, you do need to have it registered in the Spectrum Access System (SAS) by a Certified Professional Installer (CPI). After you setup your Sunflower, you will be required to submit a SAS Registration Form to Pollen's CPIs where we will register the unit on your behalf. Click here to learn more about SAS registration.
Can I have more than one Sunflower at my location / on the same IP?
Yes! Sunflower utilize Greenhouse—Pollen's gateway in the cloud—and are fully compliant with our IEPS, a Pollen-provided service that further encrypts communications and moves the Internet Egress Point from the ISP to the IEPS provider, preventing any actor from intercepting data or running network data analyses.
Can I move my Sunflower after installation?
Yes, but you will need to do it through a CPI so that the record with the SAS can be updated.
Are Sunflowers safe to put on my house?
Sunflowers are X-300i LTE radios manufactured by BLiNQ Networks. These radios are FCC certified commercially available radio that uses the CBRS frequency band, at 3.55-3.70 GHz, which is far from ionizing radiation. The radios are fairly low wattage (~1W). For comparison, a cell phone can operate at up to 3 watts of power in the same frequency band, while sitting closer to you than our radios normally would.
How do I receive rewards?
Your Flower receives rewards when it is "seen" by Bumblebees and Honeybees (we call this Proof of Coverage). To receive rewards for your Flower, you will need to have linked your Solana wallet address to the NFT for your Flower.
How do I claim my Sunflower NFT?
Upon receiving your Sunflower in the mail, scan the QR that is etched on top to access the Botanist. From there you will be able to setup your device, view its health, and claim your NFT.
